I think with AI. Every essay on this site is written that way, and I'd rather say it plainly than have you wonder.

Not think first and then have it write. Not have it write and then fix. I work the idea out in dialogue: I make a claim, the machine pushes, I push back, and somewhere in that back-and-forth the thing gives up how it actually works. It's the same move the rest of the site is about, getting a layer below the surface, run on my own thinking with a sharper sparring partner than I'd have alone. The AI is the instrument. The thinking is mine.

So what you read here isn't machine-generated, and it isn't hand-written either. It's argued into shape.

There's a toolkit under it, and the toolkit is part of the point. The engine that handles voice, reading level, and rhythm is called archetype-writer, and it's open source. The method isn't the moat, so anyone can have it.

On top of that sits a second layer that makes the words sound like me. That one stays mine. It isn't published and it isn't for sale, and that's the whole argument in miniature: the tooling is a commodity, the voice and the judgment underneath it are not. You can copy the engine. You can't copy the judgment underneath that tells it what to say.

None of this changes what you're getting. You're still hiring a brain, not a process. The machine just helps it think out loud.
